Pierre Magdi currently serves as Business Development Director for East Africa at Uptime Institute-the global digital infrastructure authority. Since joining Uptime, he has been leading growth initiatives, supporting clients across the region in achieving mission-critical resilience, and promoting Uptime’s portfolio of professional services, Certifications, and education programs.

With extensive expertise in the data center industry, Magdi's background spans operations, maintenance, prescription, pre-sales, and sales. Magdi spent the first six years of his career in data center operations and maintenance, before joining Schneider Electric, where he spent over a decade managing strategic accounts across the Middle East and Africa. There, he focused on delivering end-to-end data center solutions for cloud and service providers.

A Bachelor of Engineering graduate (2008), Magdi has consistently delivered record sales, expanded territories, and achieved multimillion-dollar revenue growth across MEA. His strong technical foundation and deep understanding of the data center sales cycle enable him to build strategic partnerships and drive market success.
