Kate Waiganjo is Legal Director at WIOCC Group. WIOCC is the leading deployer of carrier-scale, future-proofed, open-access digital infrastructure and managed services across Africa. She has led the group legal function for over a decade, advising the Board across multiple African jurisdictions on legal strategy, multi-jurisdictional commercial contracting, M&A and consortium structures, corporate governance, data protection, and ESG.

Before WIOCC, Kate worked across financial inclusion and digital health financing sectors — as Customer Service and Product Manager at Sidian Bank, Country Manager at MicroEnsure (a microinsurance specialist), and later at CarePay International, where she helped launch M-Tiba, Kenya's first digital health-financing platform.

She holds an LLM in International Finance and Commercial Law from King's College London, an MBA in Strategic Management from Strathmore Business School, an LLB from the University of Nairobi, and is a Certified Public Secretary of Kenya (CPS(K))
