Eng. Dennis Chepkwony, PMP, is an engineering leader with over 20 years of experience in Telco infrastructure strategy, development, and delivery. He currently serves as Director of the Universal Service Fund at the Communications Authority of Kenya, where he leads initiatives to expand affordable, reliable, and inclusive communications services to unserved and underserved communities.

His responsibilities span infrastructure development strategy, program financing, project governance, partnerships development, implementation, and impact evaluation.

Before joining the Authority, Dennis held senior leadership and technical roles at Safaricom, where he led strategy development for passive network infrastructure, data centres and power systems. He previously served in technical project management roles at Alcatel-Lucent, Nokia, and Siemens.

He holds an MSc in Technology Management from the University of Pretoria and a BSc in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Nairobi. He is a licensed Electrical Engineer and project Manager.
