Alexander Vavilov has over 15 years of experience in the telecom industry, having been a member of the LANCK Telecom team since 2011. He currently works as Head of Africa, responsible for Sub-Saharan African voice operations, major anti-fraud projects, and business development across the region. Alexander actively engages with local licensed telecom players, MNOs, MVNOs, and ICT regulators. He holds a degree in Mathematical Methods in Economics.

Alexander is passionate about Africa, both in business and culture, with a particular interest in African traditional music. Under his leadership, the region’s telecom market has witnessed significant success, earning himself and LANCK Telecom recognition from Carrier Community, Capacity, and the Antonio Meucci Awards, among others. Alexander regularly represents LANCK Telecom at major African telecom events organized by Carrier Community, MEF, and other organizations.
